Soundsteps provides a music practice management platform that helps musicians track, plan, and improve their practice sessions using science-based learning methods including spaced repetition and interleaved practice.
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must verify your email address within 12 hours of registration to continue using the Service. Failure to verify your email may result in restricted access.
You retain all rights to the content you create and upload to the Service, including practice notes, recordings, and other data.
By uploading content to the Service, you grant Soundsteps a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You agree not to upload or share any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Soundsteps offers a 7-day trial on paid plans. Your payment method will be charged after the trial ends unless you cancel.
Premium features are available through paid subscriptions (Regular, Pro, and Pro Plus). Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Soundsteps uses artificial intelligence to provide practice feedback and recommendations. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional music instruction or advice.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
The Service, including all software, text, graphics, logos, and other content (excluding User Content), is owned by Soundsteps Norway and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Composer names, dates, and biographical information are provided for informational purposes. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to practice and perform any copyrighted musical works.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOUNDSTEPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
